One of these designs incorporates colorful Christmas lights, and has been made to look like a carousel. Another of these fantastic tree designs incorporates a cardboard train (and track) that seem to wrap around the entire length of the tree. 

These tree alternatives look great, and decorate living spaces in a very modern way.

Today is a very special day.

Is my mom's birthday, I can say, without a doubt, that she's the best mother in the world.

She always supported me at all times with care and love, she was always a great daughter (supporting her parents in every difficult time), is a great wife (my father, cant say to much, he should give thanks to God, because others like her don't exist), a great sister (my uncle knows, your little star must be in the sky to illuminate the path of the sister who was also a mother to him), and so she has to be the best mother in the world.

I chose some phrases and illustrations from Girl Things to demonstrate all the love I have for you.

É o aniversário da minha mãe, posso dizer que é a melhor mãe do mundo, sem ser exagero.

Christmas Tree made of Lego

A team in Australia has created a massive Christmas tree made of LEGO, Christmas trees made of LEGO have been built for years, but this one stands out because of its sheer size. Standing at ten meters tall, the tree is the largest LEGO structure in the Southern Hemisphere.

The tree took 1200 hours and half a million bricks to build. A koala and Santa on a surfboard were included for some Australian flair.

The tree is located at the Westfield Sydney shopping centre beneath the Sydney Tower in the heart of Sydney, Australia.

Naturally, it’s become quite the temporary tourist destination with many people sharing pictures online.

A árvore levou 1.200 horas e meio milhão de peças para ser construida. Um koala e um Pai Natal com uma prancha, foram incluídos para algum tom australiano.

A árvore está localizada no centro comercial Westfield Sydney debaixo da Torre de Sydney, no coração de Sydney, na Austrália.

"The Bear & the Hare" - Advertising by John Lewis

This amazing Christmas advertisement, 'The Bear & The Hare', developed by Former Disney artist Aaron Blaise, the brush behind the Lion King and Andy Biddle, one of the animators responsible for the breathtaking images in Fantastic Mr. Fox, reflects the true spirit of the season and friendship. Everyone loves a good nap in the winter months, but this little hare won't let hibernation ruin Christmas for his furry pal. 

The 'making of' video showcases the art behind the movie and is a marvelous movie on it's own.

The pirates already did a letter to Santa, asking for lots of toys, every day they ask to update the letter, that I decided to write two different letters. We will put the letters on mail this week, and I think some grandparents will receive a huge list of presents I hope they don't buy everything on the list. I hope grandparents save this secret really well, and in late in the future we can remember those letters.

Os Piratas j]a tem preparada a carta para o Pai Natal, tem muitos brinquedos na lista, mas todos os dias querem juntar mais alguma coisinha, tanto que achei melhor ter duas cartas diferentes. Vamos por as cartas correi ainda esta semana, e parece que os avós vão receber uma enorme lista de presentes, só espero que eles não se lembrem de comprar tudo.
