Dress to impress is the motto of Stella MacCartney. We can really notice that on this winter kids collection.

Stella MacCartney did one amazing collection for the movie Maleficent,  from Angelina Jolie, good for the pretending days that kids always love.

The umbrellas are from a old collection, but the moto is the same.

Love this.

Os chapéus de chuva são de uma colecção antiga, mas o lema é o mesmo.

"Ormie" - cartoon by Mujib Saiyyed

Funniest animation you would have ever seen by Mujib Saiyyed. I found this cartoon and just had to share, this reminds me so much of my youngest, I decided to show this to my kids and they couldn't stop laughing. Amazing.

Um dos mais engraçados filmes de animação que já vi de Mujib Saivyed. Ao encontrar estes desenhos animados tive que partilhar, fazem me lembrar o meu filho mais novo, ao mostrar aos meus filhos eles não paravam de rir. Espectáculo.

Ninja Turtle Eggs ?!?

The turtles did not stop on the pasta they are already in the hard boiled eggs. Here at home the boys combined eat one egg, one eats the white and the other eats the yolk. One day I remembered to buy some food coloring pens, and gave wings to my artistic side and created the Ninja Turtle eggs, I paint the shell of egg and the little ones amused to open them and eat them all over.

As tartarugas não se ficaram pela massa tendo já passado para os ovos cozidos. Aqui em casa os meninos combinavam, um só comia a clara o outro só comia a gema, um dia lembrei-me de comprar umas canetas de decoração alimentar, e dei asas ao meu lado artístico e criei os ovos Ninja Turtle, pinto a casca do ovo e os pequenos divertem-se a abri-los e come-los todinhos.

Pijama Day + Song

On National Pajama Day children are invited to help other children. It is an initiative with educational value because it promotes the value of solidarity, knowledge sharing and the meaning of friendship.
"House of pajamas" were delivered to many Portuguese schools so the children could bring them home to make a monetary collection. It is a unique house designed by Yara Kono, where children can place the contributions from parents, godparents, grandparents, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends.

On Pajama National Day, children take their "houses" with their small contribution, because just a little can so so much, and they also go dressed in their pajamas to school where they play and do some activities around the theme of today.

Pedro Abrunhosa portuguese musician,as sponsor of Pajama Mission created an original song for Hymn Pajamas Mission.

No Dia Nacional do Pijama as crianças são convidadas a ajudar outras crianças. Trata-se de uma iniciativa com valor educativo pois promove o valor da solidariedade, o saber partilhar e o sentido da amizade.

Foram entregues em muitas escolas Portuguesas a Casa dos Pijamas no intuito de as criança as para levarem para casa, para fazerem uma recolha monetária. Trata-se de uma casinha original desenhada por Yara Kono, onde as crianças podem colocar as contribuições de pais, padrinhos, avós, tios, primos, vizinhos e amigos.

No Dia Nacional do Pijama, as crianças levam as suas casinhas com a sua pequena contribuição, pois o pouco pode fazer muito, e ainda vão vestidas de pijama para a escola onde brincam e fazem algumas actividades em torno do tema de hoje.

Trick or Treat and the Next Day

The theme chosen in this boys house was the fantastic Marvel Super Heroes, the elects were Spiderman and Captain America. They had a typical  parade at school, and ended the day with an invitation for Trick or Treat in a neighborhood with Js best friend. We have to thank "T" and "S" for this magnificent experience of Halloween in the middle of a typical American neighborhood in the woods, very "Spooky".

But the next day I had a spectacular revelation, this was in part suggested by cousin PJ who showed us this idea that went through many American homes, and as promises are due, here goes.

O tema escolhido nesta casa de rapazes foram os fantásticos super Heróis da Marvel, os eleitos foram o Homem Aranha e o Capitão America. Tiveram direito a desfile na escola, e terminamos o dia com um convite de Doces ou Travessuras na vizinhança dos melhores amigos dos piratas. Temos que agradecer a "T" e ao "S" por esta magnifica experiência de Halloween no meio de um tipo bairro americano no meio da floresta, muito "assustador".

Mas no dia seguinte deu-se uma revelação espectacular, esta foi em parte sugerida pelo o nosso primo PJ que nos demonstrou esta ideia que se passou por muitas casas americanas, e como o prometido é devido, cá vai.

Halloween and the crazy neighborhood

Halloween is lived with an incredible spirit, people decorate their homes in a mad way, not sure which is the most important festivity Christmas or Halloween.
In some of the houses that we saw during this season, some decorations came to life as an authentic horror movie coming up, I think that if I went pass them at night in some of these neighborhoods alone I would be scared to dead.
I regret not having recorded some on move, to share some of these spiders walking up and down very busy in their webs, and cats move too. Amazing.

O Halloween é vivido com espirito inacreditável, as pessoas decoram as casas de uma maneira enlouquecedora nem sei bem o que é mais importante se o Natal ou mesmo o Halloween.

Em algumas das casas que vimos durante esta época festiva as decorações ganhavam vida como se de um autentico filme de terror se trata-se, penso que se passa-se há noite em algumas destas vizinhanças sozinha apanhava um valente susto.

Tenho pena de não ter registado em filme para partilhar, algumas destas arranhas andavam para cima e para baixo muito atarefadas nas sua teias, e os gatos também se mexiam. Um máximo.

 

Lego + Chocolate = The Perfect Toy

O Lego só por isso já é uma coisa magnifica que nos eleva a imaginação ao mais alto nível, mas Lego de chocolate está de mais, uma coisa que certamente se algum dia se cruzar no meu caminho eu vou comprar de certeza.
